Now for something (not) completely different…
So I’ve been blogging with WordPress (an awesome blogging platform, make no mistake) for a few years now. But I’m switching things up now, for a couple reasons, which I’ll go into briefly because I know you’re dying to know.
First of all, WordPress has been making a lot of changes that are making it more Tumblrish, so I figured I’d get ahead of the curve and get on Tumblr.
The second reason is really a psychological one. I’ve been meaning to blog more for a long time – not sure why actually, there’s no law asserting that young self-centered individuals are required to expose the internet to their lives and thoughts… as far as I know…
Anyway, I think Tumblr’s environment is more conducive to frequent, low-pressure blogging. It’s just a thing. If you have a blog, Tumblr, Twitter, Google+… you’re aware of this already: they’re all ways of posting shit to the tubes, but they all feel a little different.
Okay. Thanks for reading.
To kick things off, here’s a photo of Boston/Longfellow Bridge/the Charles that I took on some day when it wasn’t too fucking hot to go outside.
